RAIL SPACING IS CRITICAL
The MP5’s rate of fire is over 800 rounds per minute. Due to its Roller-Delayed Blowback System, the Bolt Carrier’s velocity is 4X the speed of the Bolt Head before it finally unlocks and extracts the case from the chamber.Â
Precision spacing and alignment of the Receiver Rails are critical. Having improper dimensions can cause reliability issues as well as catastrophic weapon failures.
